Hi Crafty Friends! Tammy here, and I am so excited to share my first post on the Hello Bluebird blog with you all today!

Today, I have a card featuring First Snow and the Snowy Sky Scene Die from the AMAZING brand new release!

I created a slimline card measuring 3 1/2 X 8 1/2. I started with a 7 X 8 1/2″ 110 lb white cardstock panel, and folded it in half to create a card base.  Next, I cut the Snowy Sky Scene Die from Bristol Smooth cardstock and trimmed to 3 1/2 inches wide. I inked the snowy panel with Milled Lavender and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxides, and set aside to dry. I cut two more snow drifts, using the Hill and Dale Die and trimmed to 3 1/2 inches, and inked the tops of the hills with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide.  Starting from the top, I assembled my background, overlapping the hills.

Next, I stamped images from First Snow onto Bristol Smooth cardstock in black Momento ink. I colored all images with Copic markers, and added white details with a Sakura Gelly Roll white pen. All images were die cut using the coordinating First Snow dies.

I cut out the Let It Snow Sentiment from the Snowy Sky Scene from silver glitter paper I had in my stash and added it to the top of the card. Next, I stamped random snowflakes on my snow drifts using Tumbled Glass D.O. once again. All critters were arranged on the card using dimensional foam tape. To finish off my card, I added some snowflake embellishments I found for an extra touch.

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today! I can’t wait to see what you all create with the new Hello Bluebird release!

XO,

Tammy
