Hello friends, Eloise here and today I’m sharing a project made with the More Jungle Littles Set. I also pulled in a few images from the Portrait Pals, Jungle Littles and Silly Birds Stamp Set to help complete the scene.
I started off with creating my background. I love the greyed out background effect with the burst of colour so I decided to create that today. I cut down a piece of white cardstock. Stamped a few of the critters and some leaves from the jungle themed sets with black ink. I then stamped the rest of my images down onto a separate piece since those will be cut out. I then used a collection of grey markers for the background images and then coloured Copic Markers for the rest of the images.
(Copic Markers Used: R14, R24, R27, R29 / Y23, YR21, Y26, YR23 / E41, E42, E43, E44 / R00, R20 / W00, W0, W1, W2, W3, W4, W5, W7, W9 / C0, C1, C3, C5 / N0, N2, N4, N6 /YG00, YG01, YG23, YG17 / YR00, YR02, YR12, YR18 / Y11, Y13, Y15, Y19)
Once all my images were coloured, I cut out the coloured images using the dies. For the grey coloured images I just used the dies to cut masks from Inkadinkado Masking Paper I then placed them over the top of the background and ink blended some Pumice Stone and Hickory Smoke Distress Inks over the entire background.
I then removed the masks to reveal the background, which I think looked super cool. I then added foam tape onto the backs of the die cut animals and leaves and adhered them over the top of the background. For my sentiment I white heat embossed ‘Birthday Wishes’ onto a thin black strip of cardstock and adhered it over the right hand side. I lastly added a twine bow for some extra texture.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, I really hope you enjoyed.
See you next time!
