Hello everyone! Leanne here today. Ever since it’s release last month, the Fairy Garden stamp set has most certainly become one of my top fav Hello Bluebird sets. I’m sure that I’m not alone in saying that. The card I’m sharing today reinforces just how versatile and fun these images are and why the Fairy Garden set will continue to be one I reach for often.
This A2 size card features a collage style scene that was easy to create using images from the Fairy Garden and Garden Friends stamp sets along with the Gallery Frame #3 die. I also used the Country Gingham background stamp to create a decorative border around the gallery frame.
Behind the frame and images is an ink blended backdrop. I used Worn Lipstick and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks for this blend. I’ve adhered the frame and Copic colored images with varying thicknesses of dimensional foam squares. The greeting, which is also from the Fairy Garden stamp set, is white heat embossed onto a die cut banner shape and tucked under the frame. I finished off this card with a scattering of clear sequins.
I hope this card offers you a little inspiration for a fun and different way to use the adorable Fairy Garden images. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
Certain designs wing there way to one’s heart – this is one of those cards.. A friend told me once that when you finish creating a special card you hold it in open palms and blow a kiss over it to send it on it’s way to the recipient – from heart and hand. I was very surprised to see you had used a Cling Stamp to create that beautiful Gingham background – it’s perfect! And I can’t put my finger on just one element of this design that caught my attention. . And maybe that’s what makes it so special – everything about this dear card is in balance! From the foundation to the color palette to the beautiful colored illustrations; you’ve aided in making the Fairy Garden Stamp set one that we will all love for a very long time.
This is my current fave card in the UNIVERSE!
This scene is just darling!
