Hi friends! I’m back to the blog with another card using the DARLING Fairy Garden stamp set and Garden Friends stamp set. These two stamps were definitely made to go together like peanut butter and jelly and they are my favorite HB stamps of all time! I started my slim-line card with some Distress Oxide Inks on a 8.5″ x 3.5″ panel to create a background.

I stamped all of the little images from both stamp sets on white cardstock using a light color of ink for no-line stamping. I colored them all in with colored pencils which are my favorite coloring medium for small images.

I attached the images over the background creating a cute little scene of birds and frogs (better than birds and bees, right?!?!). I stamped the sentiment from the Garden Friends stamp set on the top left side of the card with black ink.

I added some of the notes from the stamp set as well since it looks like the one bird is singing. I added some yellow jewels around the flowers and critters to finish the card.

I hope you enjoyed this little foray into the land of birdies and frogs living amongst the flowers. Don’t we all wish our backyards looked like this (and that frogs didn’t gross us out?!?!). Have a happy day full of whimsical garden friends and thank you for visiting today! suzy
