Hello, Gemma here today with a card using some fabulous April release products – Unicorn Tales, After the Rain scene die, and the Magical Sparkle Words die set.

I began by die cutting the After the Rain scene die from both white card and vellum. This die is great as it cuts the scene in one pass, but all the die cut pieces are separate. This means you can add different colours to each of the pieces.

I blended on colour to an A2 card base, using distress oxides in picked raspberry, spun sugar, dried marigold, and squeezed lemonade. I adhered the white card frame to an A2 card base, then worked on adding colour to the die cut pieces.

I used the same distress oxide inks to add a touch of colour to the clouds. I used some of the vellum die cut clouds on my card too.

For the rainbow, I embossed them with some beautiful WOW glitter embossing powders in Fool’s Gold, Midas Touch, and Metallic Copper Sparkle.

Next, I selectively stamped a sentiment from the Unicorn Tales stamp set at the top of the card. I then die cut the Magical word die three times – twice from white card, and once from copper glitter card. I layered these together, then adhered the stacked word to my card.

I stamped two unicorns from the Unicorn Tales stamp set, colouring them with copic markers, then die cutting them with the coordinating dies. I added them to my card with foam tape, then finished my card with some PPP Clear Sparkle jewels.

Have a lovely day,
Gemma
