Hi there! Leanne here to share a slimline card featuring the adorable little critters from Banner Buddies. Since theses cute critters are looking up, I thought it would be fun to have them looking at a rainbow instead of the banner.
I started with a card base that measures 8.5 inches tall by 3.5 inches wide. I used Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink and a blending brush to color the front of the card. I creating a grounding border using a die from the Grassy Knolls set. I then colored the grass with a combination of Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink. I stamped and Copic colored the critters and flowers from Banner Buddies and use the coordinating dies to cut them out.
The sun, clouds, and rainbow are from a stand alone die set called Rainbow Sky. I used Wild Honey Distress Oxide ink to color the sun die cut. I lightly inked the bottom edges of the clouds with Tumbled Glass. I colored each band of the rainbow with Copic markers. From top to bottom, I used RV55, YR14, Y06, YG05, BG01, & B63. After I adhered all the images and die cuts, I stamped the sentiment which is from Rainbow Script.
