Spring Gatherings Bookmark with Anja

Hello everyone, Anja here sharing a new project featuring the Spring Gatherings set and Basic Borders Die from the latest February Release.

I couldn’t resist to use this adorable sheep! I stamped the images, colored them with Copics and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I love that you can tuck something between the little paws of the sheep like I did with the heart.

Next, I created a bookmark with the Stitched Tag Builder Die by extending the height using the Partial Die Cutting technique. I also die cut a couple of the thin Zig Zag borders from four colors of cardstock and built a fun pattern by adhering them repeatedly. It was a bit fiddly as the die cuts are really delicate but they add such a decorative detail to the top and bottom of my little scene.

I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with silver embossing powder. Finally, I pulled a lilac organza ribbon through the hole.
