Today I’m sharing a card featuring some fabulous new products from the February release – Spring Gatherings and Typed Everyday stamp sets and the Photo Stack stand-alone die set.

I began by working on the background, blending some mowed lawn and twisted citron distress oxide inks on to a white card panel. I concentrated the colour at the edges, fading out to white towards the centre.

Using a grass image from the Spring Gatherings stamp set, I stamped it with the twisted citron distress oxide ink around the edges of the panel.

Next, I stamped some more images from the Spring Gatherings stamp set and coloured them with copic markers. I used the companion dies to cut them out.

The Photo Stack stand-alone die set is a great set to have in your collection. There are two sizes of photo frame, along with four speech bubbles and a lovely scripty word die. I die cut the smaller frame three times from white card and once from black card. I added a sentiment from the new Typed Everyday stamp set, then layered the frames together to make a stack. I did this twice to get two stacked frames for my card.

I die cut the scripty Smile word die from the Photo Stack die set, twice from white card and once from a green glitter card. I layered these together. As a fan of Instagram, I thought it would be fun to add a hashtag to my sentiment, and there’s one included in the Charlie Numbers die set.

I layered all the pieces on top of my card base, then added some butterflies to finish this sweet springtime card.

Have a lovely day,
Gemma
