To create my card, I started off by ink blending a stormy sky with three different shades of blue Distress Oxide inks. I splattered on some clean clear water to add water droplets to the sky. I had masked off the bottom portion of the panel so that I could add some brown ink to ground the scene. I stamped one of the little girls holding her umbrella and her little dog, then colored them with Copic markers and diecut them with the coordinating Rainy Day dies. I added foam tape the them, but before adhering them, I stamped the puddle image from the set just under where I planned to position them. Just above them, I added a sentiment from the set in black ink.
Then, I stamped the solid raindrop image from the set in Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink, and added some clouds from the set using white pigment ink. To finish things off, I added some white gel pen accents and popped the panel up on a red card base.
That’s all for me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! 🙂
