Hello friends and Happy New Year! Eloise here today with my first post of 2019 and today I’ll be using an oldie but a goodie stamp set; Bee Happy. I feel like making Birthday cards at the beginning of the year is the way to go to make sure you have enough to get you through the year, so that’s what I wanted to do today.

To start off my card today I stamped out my images from the Bee Happy stamp set. I also stamped out a couple party hats from Just Sayin’ as well. I coloured them in with Copic Markers and cut them all out using the coordinating dies. While I had my die cutting machine out, I also ran through the Gallery Frame #2 Dies from some yellow polka dot paper and the Gallery Frame #3 Dies from white.

For my background I took a stencil and ink blended some blue wavy lines with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink along the background for some added colour. I then adhered my white grid on top with foam tape. I took a white card base and adhered my yellow frame first, then adhered my white grid in the centre.

I added foam tape onto the backs of all my bees and other images as well and adhered them down into place. For my sentiment I stamped the ‘Happy Bee-Day’ sentiment into one of the spare squares with black ink and that finished up my card for today.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed and I’ll see you next time.
