We interrupt this blog post for a special announcement….
Now back to our regular scheduled program 🙂
If you like Christmas cards with traditional colors, cute tiny characters and a bold sentiment, then I think you’ll like the card I’m sharing today. My card features some of the oh so adorable images from the North Pole Littles stamp set. I have arranged them on my card amongst die cut letters that spell out Ho Ho Ho for a big bold statement.
I started with an A2 card base and covered the front with red glitter card stock. I used the Gallery Frame #3 die to create a decorative frame. I cut some white card stock to perfectly fit inside the frame. I sponged on some Festive Berries Distress Oxide Ink keeping it very light towards the center. I used the Charlie Alpha dies to die cut the letters for Ho Ho Ho – one set out of the stripe pattern and one out of dark gray card stock. I layered letters just a bit offset and then added them to the inked panel in a vertical arrangement but staggered slightly.
I added my Copic colored images and used two white heat embossed sentiment strips to ground them. These are all adhered flat to the card to keep it easy to mail. As a finishing touch, I applied some White Blizzard Nuvo Glitter drops to the white part of the hats and some Glossy Accents to the ornament and reindeer’s collar.
