Today I’m sharing a card using the Fall Friends stamp set, a popular set from the August release. My card also features some other August release products and some from the July release.

I began with the background. I stamped the Blowing Leaves background stamp with Frayed Burlap distress oxide ink onto kraft card. I then layered this onto a card base. I then die cut the Gallery Frame 2 die from white card, and layered the frame over the top.

To build the scene, I added some die cut Birch Trees to the card, along with some clouds from the Fall Friends stamp set. I wanted some autumn leaves for the trees too, so I used a die from the Pond Builder die set, as it works great for tree tops. I blended on some autumnal colours with distress oxides inks, then layered them at the top of the scene.

Next, I stamped and copic coloured some images from the Fall Friends stamp set. This set has a vintage illustrative style which is so charming. I kept the colour palette minimal to help keep the design cohesive.

I die cut the images with the coordinating dies, added the critters to the card with foam tape, then some additional images with liquid adhesive. Finally, I stamped a sentiment from the Fall Friends stamp set onto the treetop.

Thanks for joining me. Have a lovely day,
Gemma
