Hi everyone!  Leanne here with you on this fine Monday.  I’m still loving all of the Autumn cuteness from the August release and decided to play around with the acorn and leaf dies from the Gallery Frame die #3 stand alone set.

I picked out some card stock in fall colors and before die cutting, I splattered the card stock with black and white paint.  I die cut multiples of each leaf and acorn then lightly inked the edges.  I arranged the leaves and acorns randomly on a piece of white wood grain embossed card stock.

I thought this leaf and acorn panel would pair nicely with the squirrel from the Autumn Gatherings stamp set.  I also used the tree stump and a tiny acorn image from the Woodland Littles stamp set.  I colored these images with Copic markers and cut them out with the companion dies.  I used a stitched circle die to cut an opening for the scene.  I was then ready to start assembling this A2 sized card.  I added a panel of kraft card stock slightly smaller than the card base.  Then added my decorative leaf and acorn panel with foam adhesive.  I nestled the squirrel, tree stump, and accessories inside the circle.  Finally I stamped a sentiment from the Autumn Gatherings set.

Since I had extra leaves and acorns, I decorated the inside and added a sentiment which is also from the Autumn Gatherings set.  I think the theme of this card could be used for many different occasions or for a just because card.

Thanks so much for stopping by to join me today.

Have a truly awesome week! See you next time!

🙂 Leanne
