Hi, Friends!

Caly here again to share a card using the Bee Happy set from our latest release.  Our design team members have shared amazing cards using this set and I hope the card I share today will inspire you as well!

I stamped all the images using a Copic-friendly ink and colored them using Copic markers (B0000, YG13, YG09, Y11, Y17, Y21, YR16, C5, C7).

After coloring all the images, I used the coordinating Bee Happy dies and then highlighted the images with a white gel pen (if you do it before cutting, it may rub off some depending on if the metal touches the white lines).

Before starting on the card front panel, I carefully put glossy accents over the honey jar, all the wings and the nerdy bee’s glasses (teehee).  I set those aside to dry – be sure not to touch!  I can’t tell you how many times I’ve messed up an image cutting the glossy accents too soon!

For the card front panel, I started by alternating a little hexagon die (one comes with the coordinating die set – yay!) and hexagon stamp.  I used Altenew inks in Buttercream and Warm Sunshine.  To add more color to the card, I ink-blended some Mowed Lawn and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks on the left side.  I also added some Buttercream to the card base where the hexagon windows are.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this project today.  Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope your day is bee-you-tiful!

XOXO,
