Hi friends! It’s Keeway here and dropping in to share fun scene cards filled with our little friends from Farmyard Little Bits! This was my personal favorite set in the May Release, and so much fun to color and play around to make the perfect card.
I like to start with my coloring so I stamped all my images in dark brown hybrid ink and colored them all with copic markers. The coordinating dies made it so much easier to have all these little guys cut out and ready to go!
With small images, it means I have a lot of space I need to cover. So I created multiple levels for these cows and pigs to be grounded by die cutting several layers of grass using the Grassy Knoll Die. For each layer, I blended Mowed Lawn distress inks. I wanted a flat surface to work with so each layer was inlaid then back together.
I arranged all the cows and pigs for each layer and adhered them down with foam tape. Lastly, I need to add a sentiment. I picked a simple sentiment from the same set and heat embossed it in white onto a dark gray cardstock. I trimmed it to a thin strip and an angled cut and adhered it off the right edge with foam tape.
This card came together beautifully and hope it will bring any recipient and great big smile! Thanks for joining me today and hope to see you back here soon!
