Good morning!  Jess here with a bright and cheery jungle card featuring the Tropical Foliage dies and Jungle Littles stamps!

To start I blended evergreen bough, peacock feathers, and pine needles distress ink onto a piece of ranger watercolor paper in a diagonal pattern.  Then I spritzed it with water and blotted off the excess.  I set that aside to dry while I worked on the leaves.  Next I die-cut a bunch of leaves with the Tropical Foliage dies from canson montval watercolor paper.  I added a little color with zig clean color real brush markers and then used a waterbrush to blend out the colors in a very loose and organic way.  I let them dry and then splattered them with a little white acrylic paint!

I’ve been participating in the Daily Marker coloring challenge this month so I had colored that cute monkey from Jungle Littles a few weeks ago using zig markers and decided to go ahead and let him be the focus of my card.  While my leaves were drying I die-cut the Hello die from Gallery Frame #1 with black cardstock three times and layered them together.  I also stamped the sentiment from Cheery Greetings onto black cardstock and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder before trimming it down to a fishtail banner.

Once everything was dry I arranged my leaves over the distress ink blended panel and adhered them with liquid adhesive.  Then I adhered the sentiment word die but left the end of the left side loose so I could tuck my monkey’s tail around it.  I adhered the monkey and fishtail banner with foam mounting tape and then finished the card with a few nuvo crystal glaze drops across the panel!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Have a fabulous week!
