Hello! Amy Kolling here and am very excited to share my first here on the Hello Bluebird blog! I am by nature a CAS crafter but I do like to color. Since the images in the Farmyard Little Bits set are small in nature, they are the perfect size to color with very little shading needed.
I thought this little cow holding the balloon was perfect to use to create my little scene. To start, I diecut the Gallery Frame Die #1 out of white cardstock. To create just the rectangle frame, I simply trimmed off the portion with the three squares. I added blue shading with Broken China Distress Ink and a blending tool.
To the rectangle portion of the Gallery Frame Die #1, I stamped the sentiment to the lower right. After Copic coloring the barn and hay stack, they were added above the sentiment . My frame was added with foam adhesive to a white note card layered with gray gingham pattern paper. I inset the rectangle frame and added my cute cow and balloon image with foam adhesive. As a final touch, I added some red twine to tie in with the balloon and barn.
Thank you for sharing a part of your day with me! Let’s continue to ‘party ’til the cows come home’!
